- Lead and manage a team of competitive intelligence professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of insights to support strategic decision-making within the Oncology division.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the pharmaceutical market, including competitive landscape and trends, to identify key insights and implications for the Oncology business unit.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and R&D, to understand their needs and provide actionable competitive intelligence.
- Proactively monitor and assess competitor activities, product pipelines, and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the Oncology business unit.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the development and execution of competitive strategies and tactics.
- Communicate and present competitive insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, new technologies, and emerging trends to continuously improve the competitive intelligence function.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to competitive intelligence gathering and dissemination.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in competitive intelligence.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and other events to gather and share competitive intelligence and insights.
Extensive Oncology Industry Knowledge: The Senior Director Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape In The Oncology Industry, Including Key Players, Market Trends, And Emerging Technologies.
Experience In Competitive Intelligence: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Competitive Intelligence In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, With A Focus On Oncology. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Strategic Insights And Recommendations To Inform Business Decisions.
Strong Analytical Skills: The Senior Director Must Be Highly Analytical And Possess The Ability To Synthesize Large Amounts Of Complex Data Into Meaningful Insights. They Should Be Proficient In Using Various Analytical Tools And Techniques To Identify Competitive Threats And Opportunities.
