Develop and maintain automation and deployment processes to support continuous integration and delivery of software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions for cloud-based applications.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of cloud-based applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DevOps, cloud computing, and AI/ML.
Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our DevOps processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and AI/ML.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
Mentor and train junior team members on DevOps best practices and tools.
Work closely with software development teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support.
Collaborate with other teams, such as security and compliance, to ensure that all infrastructure and processes meet regulatory requirements.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Proactively identify and address potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Continuously evaluate and improve our DevOps processes and tools to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Cloud Computing: A Senior Devops Engineer At Astrazeneca Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud. They Should Have Hands-On Experience In Designing, Deploying, And Managing Cloud-Based Infrastructure.
Strong Knowledge Of Devops Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Devops Principles And Practices, Including Infrastructure Automation, Continuous Integration And Delivery, And Configuration Management. They Should Also Have Experience With Tools Such As Jenkins, Ansible, And Docker.
Proficiency In Ai/Ml Technologies: Astrazeneca Is Heavily Invested In Ai/Ml Technologies, So A Senior Devops Engineer Must Have A Solid Understanding Of These Concepts And How To Integrate Them Into The Devops Process. Knowledge Of Tools Such As Tensorflow, Pytorch, And Apache Spark Is A Plus.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Must Have Experience In Leading And Managing Projects. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members And Stakeholders, And Have A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Continuous Learning Mindset: The Tech Industry Is Constantly Evolving, And Astrazeneca Is Committed To Staying At The Forefront Of New Technologies.
