  1. Design and execute experiments using a variety of assays and automation technologies to support drug discovery and development projects.
  2. Lead the development, optimization, and validation of new assays and automation methods.
  3. Analyze and interpret data from experiments to provide insights and recommendations to project teams.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement assays and automation processes that meet project goals and timelines.
  5. Train and mentor junior scientists in assay and automation techniques and best practices.
  6. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in assay and automation technologies and identify opportunities to implement them in our projects.
  7. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards, in the development and implementation of assays and automation processes.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to assays and automation, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  10. Communicate results and progress to project teams and senior management through presentations and reports.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to access new technologies and services that can enhance our assay and automation capabilities.
  12. Contribute to the development of patents and publications to showcase our innovative assay and automation strategies.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and quality of output.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert in assay and automation techniques, providing guidance and expertise to project teams and colleagues.
  15. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the assay and automation team.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Or Biotechnology.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry, With A Focus On Assay Development And Automation.

  • Strong Understanding Of Drug Discovery And Development Processes, With A Track Record Of Successfully Executing Projects And Achieving Results.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Various Assay Platforms And Technologies, Including High-Throughput Screening, Cell-Based Assays, And Biochemical Assays.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, As Well As Excellent Communication And Collaboration Abilities To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
