Scientist – Clinical Virology

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Virology Scientist to join AstraZeneca's R&D team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of virology and experience in clinical research.The Clinical Virology Scientist will play a key role in our team's mission to develop and support the clinical development of therapeutic antibodies and other biologic products. The successful candidate should have a strong background in clinical research, virology, and immunology with a thorough understanding of the drug development process. They should be able to work independently, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be collaborative and innovative.We are looking for an individual with a minimum of a Master's degree in virology, immunology, or a related field. A PhD in a relevant field is preferred. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in clinical research, virology, and/or immunology. They should also have experience with clinical trial design and execution, including experience with complex protocol design and study execution. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience in clinical data analysis and interpretation is also a plus.
