Provide scientific expertise and guidance to healthcare professionals within the designated region.
Educate healthcare professionals on AstraZeneca's medical products and their benefits to patients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare organizations in the region.
Stay updated on the latest medical research and advancements in the field to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided to healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop medical strategies and initiatives to support AstraZeneca's products within the region.
Conduct presentations and training sessions for healthcare professionals on AstraZeneca's products and their appropriate usage.
Act as a liaison between AstraZeneca and healthcare professionals, addressing any medical inquiries or concerns.
Attend medical conferences and events to represent AstraZeneca and promote our products to healthcare professionals.
Provide medical support to the sales and marketing teams, ensuring all promotional materials and activities align with medical regulations and guidelines.
Continuously gather and analyze data on market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Adhere to all ethical and compliance standards set by AstraZeneca and regulatory bodies.
Continuously enhance your own medical knowledge by participating in training and development programs offered by AstraZeneca.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the regional team.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Medical Degree: A Minimum Of An Md Or Equivalent Medical Degree Is Required For This Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Medical Knowledge And Can Effectively Communicate With Healthcare Professionals.
Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In A Relevant Therapeutic Area. This Experience Will Allow Them To Understand The Needs And Challenges Of Healthcare Professionals And Provide Valuable Insights To The Company.
Industry Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry Is Preferred. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Understanding Of The Drug Development Process And The Ability To Navigate The Complex Regulatory Landscape.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Regional Medical Advisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Developing And Maintaining Relationships With Key Opinion Leaders And Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential For This Role.
Leadership Abilities: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, As They Will Be Required To Provide Medical Support And Guidance To Cross-Functional Teams Within The Company. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Manage And Mentor Their Team Of Medical Professionals.
