Provide medical expertise and support to commercial teams in the assigned region.
Stay up-to-date on the latest medical developments, regulations, and guidelines in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the region.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute medical strategies and plans.
Identify and communicate key medical insights and trends within the region.
Review and approve promotional materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
Train and educate commercial teams on medical and scientific information related to AstraZeneca's products.
Attend and present at medical conferences, symposia, and other events to gather and disseminate medical knowledge.
Conduct medical trainings for internal teams to ensure a deep understanding of AstraZeneca's products and therapeutic areas.
Participate in advisory boards and other scientific meetings to gather insights and contribute to product development.
Collaborate with medical affairs colleagues globally to share best practices and contribute to global initiatives.
Comply with all legal and ethical standards in all interactions with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
Represent AstraZeneca as a knowledgeable and credible medical expert in the assigned region.
Continuously evaluate and improve medical strategies to drive the success of AstraZeneca's products in the market.
Act as a key resource for medical information and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

Medical Degree: A Minimum Of A Medical Degree (Md Or Equivalent) Is Required For A Regional Medical Advisor Position At Astrazeneca. This Ensures A Strong Foundation In Medical Knowledge And Understanding Of Disease Areas.
Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience, Preferably In A Relevant Therapeutic Area. This Experience Provides A Strong Understanding Of Patient Needs And The Ability To Communicate With Healthcare Professionals.
Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Industry: A Thorough Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical Industry, Including Drug Development Processes, Regulations, And Compliance Is Essential For A Regional Medical Advisor At Astrazeneca.
Strong Communication Skills: A Regional Medical Advisor Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, In Order To Effectively Communicate Complex Medical And Scientific Information To Different Stakeholders, Including Healthcare Professionals, Internal Teams, And External Partners.
Teamwork And Collaboration: Astrazeneca Values Teamwork And Collaboration, And A Regional Medical Advisor Should Be Able To Work Effectively In A Team Environment, Supporting And Collaborating With Colleagues From Different Departments And Countries. This Includes The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders.
