Develop and implement a regional Lean strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Lead and coach cross-functional teams in Lean methodologies and tools to identify and execute process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Facilitate Lean training and workshops for employees at all levels, promoting a mindset of problem-solving and waste reduction.
Monitor and track progress of Lean initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to leadership.
Conduct assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any gaps.
Work closely with regional teams to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Act as a change agent, promoting Lean principles and practices throughout the organization.
Mentor and develop Lean practitioners at all levels, providing guidance and support to build their skills and capabilities.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Lean methodology and implement new techniques as appropriate.

Job Qualifications

Strong Understanding Of Lean Principles And Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Lean Principles And Methodologies, Such As Six Sigma, Kaizen, And Value Stream Mapping. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing These Practices In A Regional Or Global Setting.
Leadership And Coaching Skills: As A Regional Lean Coach, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Coaching Teams Across Multiple Locations. They Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Others, And The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Ideas And Concepts.
Project Management Experience: The Regional Lean Coach Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Managing Multiple Lean Projects Across The Region. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Project Management, Including The Ability To Create Project Plans, Manage Timelines, And Track Progress.
Change Management Expertise: Implementing Lean Practices Often Involves Significant Changes To Processes, Systems, And Even Culture. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Change And Addressing Resistance To Change, As Well As The Ability To Develop And Execute Change Management Plans.
Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Astrazeneca Is A Leading Global Pharmaceutical Company, So Experience In The Industry Is Highly Desirable For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical Business And Its Unique Challenges, As Well As A Track Record Of Driving Operational Excellence In A Pharmaceutical Setting.
