Develop and implement IT strategies to support AstraZeneca's research and development goals.
Lead and manage all aspects of IT programs within the R&D department, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for technology solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure buy-in and support for IT initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Project Management: A Qualified Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Leading And Managing Complex It Projects, Preferably In A Research And Development (R&D) Setting.
Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of It Infrastructure, Software Development, And Data Management In The Context Of R&D. They Should Have Experience Working With Various Technologies And Be Able To Provide Technical Guidance To Project Teams.
Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical R&D Processes: A Successful R&D It Senior Program Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Drug Development Process And How It Systems And Tools Can Support And Streamline R&D Activities. Leadership And Communication Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Oversee And Guide Project Teams, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels. The Candidate Should Be Able To Facilitate Collaboration, Resolve Conflicts, And Provide Regular Updates On Project Status And Progress.
