As the Project Service Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects within our organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Oversee the delivery of projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Lead and guide project teams in the execution of project plans, providing direction, support, and mentorship as needed.
Monitor project progress and identify and address any potential roadblocks or issues that may impact successful project outcomes.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration across project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive alignment and achieve project goals.
Utilize project management methodologies to drive efficient and effective project delivery.
Continuously evaluate and improve project processes and procedures to optimize project outcomes.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities and incorporate them into project plans.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management, and proactively identify opportunities to incorporate them into project delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve project delivery and drive overall business success.
Act as a role model and mentor for project management best practices, providing guidance and support to team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Represent AstraZeneca with external partners and vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to support successful project outcomes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Project Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Project Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Large-Scale Projects Within Budget And On Time.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Project Service Director, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Project Managers. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, Are Essential.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, In Order To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
Strategic Thinking: As A Key Member Of The Global Business Services (Gbs) Project Services Team, The Candidate Must Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically And Analytically To Identify Potential Project Risks And Develop Solutions To Mitigate Them.
Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: Astrazeneca Is A Leading Global Pharmaceutical Company, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of The Industry And Its Regulations, Including Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) And Good Manufacturing Practice (Gmp). Previous Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry Is Preferred.
