  1. Develop and implement project and portfolio management strategies to support the goals of the Global Medical Affairs division at OBU.
  2. Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and projects within the division, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
  3. Identify and prioritize projects based on their potential impact on patients and the company's success.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, commercial, and regulatory, to drive project success and ensure seamless integration across departments.
  5. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise.
  6. Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  7. Conduct regular reviews of the project portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for changes or adjustments as needed.
  8. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  9. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and developments, and use this knowledge to inform project and portfolio management strategies.
  11. Serve as a key point of contact for senior leadership, providing updates on project progress and key insights and recommendations.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project and portfolio management function.
  13. Mentor and develop team members, providing coaching and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, in all aspects of project and portfolio management.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for AstraZeneca, promoting the company's mission and values in all interactions and activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Project And Portfolio Management, Preferably Within The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Project Management, Or Life Sciences.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Multi-Million Dollar Projects And Portfolios, With A Focus On Delivering Results On Time And Within Budget.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing Cross-Functional Teams, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of The Drug Development Process And Regulatory Requirements, As Well As Knowledge Of Global Medical Affairs Operations.
