Develop and execute a comprehensive scientific data strategy for the company, in alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data management needs and requirements, ensuring that they are aligned with scientific research and development initiatives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all scientific data management projects, providing guidance and direction to team members and stakeholders.
Lead the planning, development, and implementation of new data management systems and processes, continuously evaluating their effectiveness and making necessary improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies and techniques into the company's data strategy.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing and enforcing best practices for data management, storage, and transfer.
Communicate and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, IT professionals, and vendors, to gather and incorporate feedback and requirements into data management processes.
Monitor and analyze data management performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management on progress, challenges, and improvements.
Train and mentor team members on data management best practices and processes, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
Represent the company at scientific data conferences and events, and actively participate in industry forums and discussions to stay informed on the latest developments and advancements in data management.

A Strong Understanding Of Scientific Data And Research Methods: The Product Owner For Scientific Data At Astrazeneca Must Have A Solid Background In Scientific Data And A Deep Understanding Of Research Methodologies. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Communicate With And Understand The Needs Of The Scientific Teams They Will Be Working With.
Experience In Product Management: A Product Owner Must Have Experience In Product Management, Including Defining Product Vision, Prioritizing Features, And Creating Roadmaps. This Experience Will Be Crucial In Guiding The Development And Implementation Of Scientific Data Products At Astrazeneca.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As The Bridge Between The Scientific Teams And The Development Team, A Product Owner Must Have Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills.
