Process Engineer, Cell Therapy Process Development

- Develop and optimize processes for innovative cell therapies.
- Utilize strong engineering skills and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge therapies.
- Work closely with the Cell Therapy Process Development team to design and implement efficient and effective processes.
- Conduct research and experiments to identify and troubleshoot any issues or challenges in the process.
- Analyze data and results to make informed decisions and recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new processes.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in cell therapy to continuously improve processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all processes, experiments, and findings.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards while performing experiments and developing processes.
- Contribute to the development of project plans and timelines, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to provide updates, share findings, and address any concerns.
- Participate in team meetings and provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Mentor and train junior team members on processes and procedures.
- Uphold the company's values and mission while representing AstraZeneca in a professional manner.
Bachelor's Degree In Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Process Development For Cell Therapy Products
In-Depth Knowledge Of Cgmp Regulations And Experience Working In A Regulated Environment
Strong Understanding Of Cell Therapy Manufacturing Processes And Equipment, Including Cell Expansion, Purification, And Cryopreservation Methods
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Design And Execute Experiments And Troubleshoot Process Issues.
