Patient Access Manager

AstraZeneca is looking for an experienced and compassionate Patient Access Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Patient Access Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of patient access, including eligibility verification, prior authorization and appeals.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in patient access or financial services, as well as a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. A Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.We are looking for a team-player who is able to think critically and problem solve, has the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and is an excellent communicator. The Patient Access Manager must be able to work collaboratively with other departments and manage relationships with external partners.
