Job Description

At AstraZeneca, we are looking for an Oncology Scientific Partnership Medical Director who is driven to change the lives of cancer patients around the world. The successful candidate will be a key leader in our Oncology Scientific Partnership team, responsible for providing medical and scientific support to our partners in the field of oncology.The ideal candidate will possess a MD, PhD or equivalent degree in a related field, as well as a minimum of five years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a proven track record of success in oncology. They will have extensive knowledge of clinical trial design and therapeutic areas, as well as experience in the development, implementation and execution of medical strategies.We’re looking for someone passionate about oncology, with a strong understanding of the oncology landscape and a commitment to working collaboratively with our external partners. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
