  1. Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the field of cardiovascular medicine in the Minneapolis, MN area.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for scientific information and support for AstraZeneca's ATTR/Cardiovascular portfolio.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans for the development and commercialization of our portfolio.
  4. Utilize strong scientific background and knowledge of current research to provide valuable insights and support to key opinion leaders and internal teams.
  5. Conduct presentations and provide scientific education to healthcare professionals about AstraZeneca's products and therapeutic areas.
  6. Attend and participate in relevant medical conferences, symposia, and other events to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
  7. Act as a scientific resource for internal teams, including sales, marketing, and clinical development.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical data, treatment guidelines, and competitor information in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
  9. Communicate and present scientific information to diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and internal stakeholders.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interactions and activities in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  11. Continuously monitor and assess the competitive landscape and provide insights and recommendations to support the success of AstraZeneca's portfolio.
  12. Act as an ambassador for AstraZeneca, representing the company and its values in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Or A Phd In A Relevant Field Such As Pharmacology, Cardiology, Or Physiology Is Required For This Role.

  • Clinical Experience: A Strong Background In Clinical Practice And Experience Working With Cardiovascular Medicines Is Essential For Success In This Role. Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Medical Science Liaison (Msl) Or In A Similar Role.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Therapeutics: In-Depth Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Disease, Treatment Options, And Emerging Therapies Is Necessary For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Attr/Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Medical Information To A Variety Of Stakeholders.

  • Strong Communication And Relationship-Building Skills: The Ability To Establish And Maintain Relationships With Key Opinion Leaders, Healthcare Providers, And Other Stakeholders Is Crucial For This Role. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Communication, Presentation, And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: This Role Requires Frequent Travel And The Ability To Work Independently And Within A Team. Candidates Should Be Able To Adapt To A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Work Environment And Be Comfortable With A High Level Of Autonomy And Responsibility.
