  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and healthcare professionals within the designated territory to advance medical research and promote AstraZeneca's products and therapies.
  2. Serve as a scientific expert and resource for internal teams, providing up-to-date knowledge and insights on the latest advancements and treatments in Immunology.
  3. Conduct presentations and educational programs to healthcare professionals and stakeholders, effectively communicating the scientific and clinical data related to AstraZeneca's products and their benefits.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and clinical research, to develop and implement strategies to support product launches and promote AstraZeneca's portfolio.
  5. Participate in and contribute to scientific conferences, advisory boards, and other medical meetings to stay informed of industry trends and scientific developments.
  6. Keep abreast of competitor activities and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to the team to maintain a competitive edge.
  7. Provide medical and scientific support to internal teams, including product training, market research, and competitive intelligence, to ensure a thorough understanding of AstraZeneca's products and their potential applications.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance guidelines, ensuring all activities and communications are in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  9. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership with external stakeholders to advance medical research and support the development of life-saving treatments.
  10. Represent AstraZeneca as a knowledgeable and reputable scientific expert, establishing and maintaining a positive image and reputation for the company within the medical community.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Immunology, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology)

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Medical Science Liaison Role Or Related Field In The Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Immunology, Specifically In The Areas Of Autoimmune Diseases And Immunotherapy

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Information To Various Stakeholders

  • Knowledge Of The Southern Ontario And Atlantic Regions, Including Key Opinion Leaders And Healthcare Institutions, And Ability To Establish And Maintain Strong Relationships Within The Medical Community
