
Medical Director, Early Global Development, Oncology R&D

- Lead the development and implementation of the early development strategy for AstraZeneca's oncology portfolio
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of the overall development plan
- Provide medical and scientific expertise to support the design, conduct, and interpretation of clinical studies
- Serve as the medical lead for clinical development programs, including oversight of clinical trial protocols, data analysis, and regulatory submissions
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of oncology and incorporate new knowledge into development plans
- Act as a key spokesperson for the company's oncology programs, representing AstraZeneca at scientific conferences and meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external partners to advance the understanding and treatment of cancer
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including ICH/GCP and company policies and procedures
- Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and tools to enhance efficiency and quality in early development activities.
Advanced Degree In Medicine Or Related Field, Such As Md, Phd, Or Pharmd.
Extensive Experience In Early Global Development And Oncology Research And Development.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing Cross-Functional Teams.
In-Depth Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines For Drug Development In Oncology.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Internal And External Stakeholders.
