- Develop and execute medical strategy for respiratory and immunology diseases in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical development, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful launch and commercialization of respiratory and immunology products.
- Serve as the primary medical expert for R&I products, providing medical and scientific expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the respiratory and immunology field.
- Provide scientific support and education to internal teams, including sales and marketing, to ensure a deep understanding of respiratory and immunology products.
- Monitor and analyze medical and scientific literature, competitor activities, and market trends to inform medical strategy and identify potential opportunities for growth.
- Develop and deliver medical presentations and materials to external audiences, including healthcare professionals, payers, and patients.
- Conduct medical training for internal teams on respiratory and immunology products and disease areas.
- Collaborate with global medical teams to ensure consistency and alignment of medical strategy and messaging.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Participate in advisory boards, congresses, and other scientific events to enhance the company's presence and reputation in the respiratory and immunology space.
- Stay updated on emerging therapies and treatment guidelines in the respiratory and immunology field to inform and drive medical strategy.
Advanced Degree In Medicine Or Related Field: A Medical Affairs Lead - R&I At Astrazeneca Must Have A Strong Foundation In Medicine Or A Related Field, Such As Pharmacology Or Immunology. This Advanced Degree Is Essential For Understanding The Complex Mechanisms Of Respiratory And Immunological Diseases.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Respiratory And Immunology: A Successful Candidate Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Respiratory And Immunological Diseases, Including Their Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, And Treatment.
