Provide leadership and direction for the pharmacovigilance team within AstraZeneca, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Oracle Argus Safety System, ensuring its effective use for safety data management and signal detection.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure their consistent application across the pharmacovigilance team.
Train and mentor team members on the use of the Oracle Argus Safety System and other pharmacovigilance processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as clinical development and regulatory affairs, to ensure timely and accurate reporting of safety data.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in pharmacovigilance, and actively seek out opportunities for innovation and improvement within AstraZeneca.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Oracle Argus Safety System, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Lead and manage the planning and execution of pharmacovigilance projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the pharmacovigilance team.
Represent AstraZeneca at relevant conferences and events, promoting the company's commitment to patient safety and innovation in pharmacovigilance.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Oracle Argus Safety System: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Oracle Argus Safety System. They Should Be Well-Versed In All Aspects Of The System, Including Data Entry, Report Generation, And Configuration.
Strong Understanding Of Pharmacovigilance Regulations: A Lead Consultant In This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Global Pharmacovigilance Regulations, Including Ich Guidelines, Fda Regulations, And Ema Requirements. They Should Be Able To Ensure Compliance With These Regulations In All Aspects Of Their Work.
Project Management Skills: This Role Involves Leading And Managing Various Projects Related To Oracle Argus Safety System. The Candidate Should Have Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Execute Projects Effectively And Within Deadlines.
Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem-Solve: The Candidate Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Issues Related To Oracle Argus Safety System Quickly And Efficiently. They Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues And Provide Effective Solutions.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Lead Consultant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Leading A Team Of Consultants. They Should Have Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Different Stakeholders And Lead Their Team To Achieve Project Goals.
