Design and implement complex data solutions using AWS and Snowflake technologies.
Lead and manage a team of data engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
Monitor and troubleshoot data issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Identify and implement best practices for data governance and data security.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud-based data technologies.
Mentor and train other team members to enhance their technical skills.
Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data engineering processes and systems.
Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges in data engineering projects.
Communicate project updates, timelines, and risks to project stakeholders and management.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.
Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to the wider organization on data engineering best practices.

Job Qualifications

Expertise In Aws And Snowflake: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Working Knowledge Of Aws And Snowflake, Including Experience In Building And Maintaining Data Pipelines, Data Warehousing, And Data Governance.
Leadership Skills: As A Lead Cloud Data Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Data Engineers And Guiding Them In Their Work. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Experience In Data Management: A Good Understanding Of Data Management Principles And Best Practices Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Design And Implement Effective Data Management Strategies To Ensure The Accuracy, Completeness, And Security Of Data.
Technical Proficiency: The Lead Cloud Data Engineer Should Have A Strong Background In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field. They Should Also Have Experience In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Java, As Well As Experience With Etl Tools And Data Visualization Tools.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
