Develop and implement IT strategies and solutions that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to a team of IT professionals responsible for supporting manufacturing process intelligence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities to leverage technology for process improvement.
Conduct thorough research and evaluation of new and emerging technologies to determine their potential impact and benefits for the company.
Create and manage IT budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and in line with business priorities.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and processes to support manufacturing operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT team to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and resources.
Provide regular updates and reports on IT initiatives and progress to senior leadership.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IT, specifically related to manufacturing process intelligence, and make recommendations for adoption.
Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and support for IT initiatives.
Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data related to manufacturing processes.
Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and implementation of new IT solutions.
Train and develop team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to ethics and compliance.

Job Qualifications

Expertise In It Systems: A Strong It Director For Manufacturing Process Intelligence At Astrazeneca Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various It Systems, Including Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp), Manufacturing Execution Systems (Mes), And Data Analytics Tools. They Should Be Able To Evaluate And Implement These Systems To Improve Efficiency And Productivity In The Manufacturing Process.
Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Knowledge And Experience In Manufacturing Processes, Especially In The Pharmaceutical Industry. They Should Understand The Complexities Of The Manufacturing Process And Be Able To Identify Areas For Improvement And Implement Solutions.
Leadership Skills: An It Director At Astrazeneca Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of It Professionals And Collaborate With Other Departments. They Should Be Able To Set Goals, Delegate Tasks, And Provide Guidance To Ensure The Successful Implementation Of It Solutions.
Strategic Thinking: The It Director Should Be Able To Think Strategically And Develop Long-Term Plans For It Systems And Processes That Align With The Overall Goals And Objectives Of Astrazeneca.
