  1. Develop and execute health economics and payer evidence plans to support market access strategies for AstraZeneca's life-saving medicines.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that payer evidence and health economics data are integrated into product development and commercialization plans.
  3. Conduct analyses and provide insights on the economic value of AstraZeneca's products to payers and other stakeholders.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including payers, HTA agencies, and other decision-makers, to enhance understanding and adoption of AstraZeneca's products.
  5. Monitor and analyze trends in health economics and payer evidence to identify opportunities for AstraZeneca's products and inform strategic decision-making.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on health economics and payer evidence and provide guidance and support to internal teams.
  7. Evaluate and manage data from clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world evidence to generate health economic and payer evidence.
  8. Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment of health economics and payer evidence strategies and plans.
  9. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate health economics and payer evidence insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, policies, and market access guidelines to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.
  11. Mentor and develop junior team members to build a strong and capable health economics and payer evidence team.
  12. Represent AstraZeneca at conferences, forums, and other external events to showcase our health economics and payer evidence capabilities and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize health economics and payer evidence processes, methodologies, and tools.
  14. Support the development and implementation of market access plans and pricing strategies by providing health economics and payer evidence expertise and insights.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of AstraZeneca's market access goals by providing strategic input and support to cross-functional teams.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Health Economics, Health Services Research, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Health Economics Or Market Access Within The Pharmaceutical Industry

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Health Care Systems And Payer Landscape, Including Reimbursement Policies And Processes

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Payer Evidence Strategies And Plans

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret And Communicate Complex Health Economic Data To Internal And External Stakeholders.
