Conduct thorough and timely technical reviews of pharmaceutical products, including documentation, processes, and systems, to ensure compliance with global regulations and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to provide technical expertise and support in the development, registration, and launch of new products.
Identify and assess potential risks and propose appropriate corrective and preventive actions to mitigate them.
Review and approve change controls, deviations, and investigations related to product quality and compliance.
Stay up-to-date with global regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure continuous compliance and provide proactive recommendations for improvement.
Conduct audits of internal processes and external vendors to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Participate in regulatory inspections and support the resolution of any findings.
Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues and cross-functional teams on quality and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with global affiliates to ensure consistency and alignment in quality and compliance practices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all review activities and communicate any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: A Global Technical Reviewer At Astrazeneca Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines, Including Those From Fda, Ema, And Other Global Regulatory Bodies.
Experience In Pharmaceutical Industry: Candidates Must Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, Preferably In A Technical Or Regulatory Role. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Drug Development Processes And Manufacturing Operations.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Global Technical Reviewer Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Review Technical Data And Make Sound Decisions Based On Scientific Evidence. This Includes The Ability To Identify Potential Risks And Propose Solutions To Mitigate Them.
Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Global Technical Reviewer Involves Reviewing Complex Technical Documents And Ensuring They Meet Regulatory Standards. Therefore, Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Identify Any Discrepancies Or Errors That May Impact Product Approval.
Communication And Collaboration: Astrazeneca Values Employees Who Can Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
