  1. Lead and manage global clinical trials in accordance with AstraZeneca’s standards, policies, and procedures.
  2. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of clinical studies, from study start-up to study closure.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to develop and execute study plans and protocols.
  4. Work closely with external partners, such as contract research organizations and study sites, to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of clinical trials.
  5. Monitor and track study progress, identify and address potential issues or risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  6. Manage study budgets and timelines, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and utilized efficiently.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards in the conduct of clinical trials.
  8. Communicate study updates, results, and issues to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
  9. Participate in the selection and training of study team members and provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve study processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  11. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in clinical trial management.
  12. Represent AstraZeneca at scientific conferences, meetings, and other events as needed.
  13. Uphold AstraZeneca’s values and culture of innovation, collaboration, and patient focus in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Project Management, Preferably In A Global Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Clinical Trial Operations, Including Study Start-Up, Execution, And Close-Out Processes.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Teams From Diverse Cultural Backgrounds And Navigate Global Regulatory Requirements.
