- Lead and manage global clinical trials in accordance with AstraZeneca’s standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of clinical studies, from study start-up to study closure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to develop and execute study plans and protocols.
- Work closely with external partners, such as contract research organizations and study sites, to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of clinical trials.
- Monitor and track study progress, identify and address potential issues or risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Manage study budgets and timelines, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and utilized efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards in the conduct of clinical trials.
- Communicate study updates, results, and issues to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Participate in the selection and training of study team members and provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.
- Continuously evaluate and improve study processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in clinical trial management.
- Represent AstraZeneca at scientific conferences, meetings, and other events as needed.
- Uphold AstraZeneca’s values and culture of innovation, collaboration, and patient focus in all aspects of the job.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Project Management, Preferably In A Global Setting.
Extensive Knowledge Of Clinical Trial Operations, Including Study Start-Up, Execution, And Close-Out Processes.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Teams From Diverse Cultural Backgrounds And Navigate Global Regulatory Requirements.
