Develop and implement quality risk management strategies across all global operations of AstraZeneca.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements related to quality management.
Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential quality risks in all aspects of the pharmaceutical industry.
Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure AstraZeneca remains at the forefront of quality management.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and understanding of quality risk management strategies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies to facilitate timely and successful inspections.
Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Represent AstraZeneca at conferences and industry events to share best practices and promote the company's commitment to quality.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
Develop and manage the quality budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Act as a mentor and coach to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Participate in company-wide initiatives and projects to support the overall mission and goals of AstraZeneca.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Quality Risk Management: The Global Quality Director Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Quality Risk Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Effective Risk Management Strategies In A Global Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Company.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Global Regulations And Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Global Regulations And Standards Related To Quality Risk Management, Including Ich Guidelines, Gmp, And Iso 9001. They Should Also Have Experience Working With Regulatory Bodies Such As The Fda And Ema.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Global Leader, The Quality Director Must Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Stakeholders Across Different Regions And Cultures.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Quality Director Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Strategically To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Proactive Solutions To Mitigate Them. They Should Also Have The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions And Prioritize Resources To Ensure The Highest Quality Standards Are Met.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Astrazeneca Is Committed To Continuous Improvement, And The Quality Director Should Share This Mindset. They Should Be Able To Drive A Culture Of Continuous Improvement Within The Quality Risk Management Function, Identifying Opportunities For Process Optimization And Implementing Best Practices To Enhance Overall Quality Performance.
