  1. Develop and drive the Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) strategy for AstraZeneca globally.
  2. Lead and manage a team of talented individuals to advance the ADC portfolio.
  3. Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities for ADC research and development.
  4. Stay updated on industry developments and trends related to biopharmaceuticals and ADCs.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of ADC strategy with overall company goals.
  6. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners and regulatory agencies.
  7. Monitor and analyze market trends to inform decision making and drive business growth.
  8. Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for ADC projects.
  9. Communicate progress, challenges, and plans to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  10. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the ADC team.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  12. Represent AstraZeneca at conferences and industry events to showcase our leadership in ADC research and development.
  13. Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for career growth.
  14. Drive a patient-centric mindset and prioritize patient outcomes in all ADC strategies and decisions.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field: The Executive Director Should Have A Phd Or Equivalent In A Relevant Scientific Discipline, Such As Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Or Immunology. This Will Ensure They Have A Strong Understanding Of The Science Behind Antibody Drug Conjugates (Adcs) And Can Provide Strategic Guidance For Their Development.

  • Extensive Experience In Adc Development: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Focus On Adcs. This Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Success In Leading Teams And Delivering Adcs From Pre-Clinical Development To Approval.

  • Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: As The Head Of Adc Strategy, The Executive Director Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills And The Ability To Translate Scientific Knowledge Into Business Opportunities. This Will Involve Identifying And Evaluating Potential Partnerships, Licensing Opportunities, And Market Trends To Drive The Success Of Adc Programs.

  • Leadership And Team Management: Astrazeneca Is A Global Company With A Diverse Workforce. The Executive Director Should Have Experience Leading And Managing Teams In A Cross-Functional, Matrixed Environment. They Should Also Have Excellent Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Colleagues At All Levels.
