Job Description

AstraZeneca is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager for our Specialty Care CVRM division in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will lead a team of sales representatives to promote and sell our cardiovascular and metabolic disease products to healthcare providers in the region. As a key member of our sales team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and contribute to the growth of our business.   1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for the Specialty Care CVRM division in the Philadelphia, PA region.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to effectively promote and sell AstraZeneca's cardiovascular and metabolic disease products to healthcare providers.
  3. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to the sales team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve their targets and drive business growth.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare providers in the region, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other relevant stakeholders.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to counter potential threats.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure alignment and execution of brand strategies.
  7. Utilize data and analytical tools to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
  9. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and guidelines.
  10. Represent AstraZeneca and our products in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
  11. Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay updated on industry developments and trends.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to promote employee engagement and retention.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience, Preferably In The Cardiovascular Or Specialty Care Field

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Sales Team And Meeting/Exceeding Sales Targets

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of The Philadelphia Market And Healthcare Landscape, Specifically In The Cardiovascular And Specialty Care Area

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Coach And Develop A Team, As Well As Collaborate Cross-Functionally With Other Departments.
