Develop and implement the diagnostic strategy for breast cancer, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
Lead the team in researching, evaluating, and implementing innovative diagnostic tools and technologies to improve early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in medical diagnostics and breast cancer research, and incorporate relevant findings into the diagnostic strategy.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including physicians, researchers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of diagnostic tools.
Provide guidance and direction to the team in the development, validation, and commercialization of new diagnostic products.
Oversee the budget and resources for the Medical Diagnostic Breast Cancer department, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.
Act as a subject matter expert on breast cancer diagnostics, providing insights and expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting innovation, collaboration, and a drive for excellence.
Stay informed about competing diagnostic products and strategies, and proactively identify opportunities for differentiation and market growth.
Represent AstraZeneca at conferences, events, and meetings to promote our diagnostic tools and share knowledge and expertise with the wider medical community.
Monitor and report on the performance of diagnostic products in the market, and use data to inform future strategies and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines for medical diagnostics, and maintain a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
