- Serve as the primary point of contact for all EU pharmacovigilance activities and ensure compliance with EU regulations.
- Oversee the EU QPPV Office and provide leadership and guidance to the team.
- Develop and maintain pharmacovigilance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with EU regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of pharmacovigilance reports to regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and evaluate the safety profile of AstraZeneca products in the EU and make recommendations for risk management strategies.
- Keep abreast of changes in EU pharmacovigilance regulations and communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between AstraZeneca and regulatory authorities in the EU for pharmacovigilance-related matters.
- Lead and facilitate audits and inspections related to EU pharmacovigilance activities.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on EU pharmacovigilance regulations and processes.
- Participate in industry working groups and forums to stay informed about best practices and industry trends in EU pharmacovigilance.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all pharmacovigilance-related activities in compliance with EU regulations.
- Act as a point of escalation for any EU pharmacovigilance issues or concerns and coordinate the appropriate actions to address them.
- Continuously assess and improve pharmacovigilance processes and systems to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support EU pharmacovigilance activities.
- Contribute to the overall success of AstraZeneca by promoting a culture of patient safety and compliance with EU pharmacovigilance regulations.
Advanced Knowledge Of Eu Pharmacovigilance Regulations: As A Deputy Eu Qppv & Senior Director Qppv Office, A Thorough Understanding Of Eu Pharmacovigilance Regulations And Guidelines Is Essential. This Includes Knowledge Of The Eu Pharmacovigilance System And The Role Of The Qppv In Ensuring Compliance.
Extensive Experience In Pharmacovigilance: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Pharmacovigilance, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing Pharmacovigilance Activities And Teams.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Pharmacovigilance Professionals. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Organizational Skills To Effectively Oversee The Qppv Office.
