Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies and solutions to protect the organization's assets and confidential information.
Lead and manage the Product Security Solutions team, providing guidance and support to team members.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, R&D, and business units, to ensure alignment and integration of cybersecurity initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor and analyze security incidents, and respond to any cyber attacks or breaches in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security.
Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on cybersecurity matters.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the cybersecurity team to stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to implement security solutions and ensure the organization's security posture.
Maintain and manage budgets and resources for cybersecurity initiatives.
Keep track of cybersecurity metrics and report to senior leadership on the effectiveness of security measures.
Lead incident response and recovery efforts, ensuring minimal impact to the organization's operations.
Stay compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to cybersecurity.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices, Including Threat Detection And Mitigation, Risk Assessment, And Incident Response.
Experience In Product Security: The Cybersecurity Director Should Have A Strong Background In Product Security Solutions, Including Secure Coding Practices, Vulnerability Management, And Secure Network Design.
Leadership Skills: A Successful Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing Teams, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels.
Industry Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry, With A Focus On Product Security And Compliance.
Education And Certifications: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Cybersecurity Is Preferred. Additionally, Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa Would Be Highly Valuable For This Role.
