Procurement: Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials needed for the company's operations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Planning: Develop and implement material planning strategies to ensure adequate supply of materials for production, while minimizing inventory costs and avoiding stock shortages.
Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential vendors to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain.
Cost Management: Monitor and analyze material costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to optimize inventory turnover and minimize waste.
Forecasting: Utilize historical data and market trends to accurately forecast material needs and anticipate any potential supply chain disruptions.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement and planning activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in procurement and planning processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other Buyers/Material Planners to share best practices, knowledge, and resources to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications

Supply Chain Management Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Company. This Includes Experience In Procurement, Inventory Management, And Planning.
Strong Analytical Skills: The Ability To Analyze Data And Make Strategic Decisions Based On Market Trends, Supply Chain Patterns, And Demand Forecasting. Proficiency In Excel And Other Data Analysis Tools Is Required.
Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Industry: Familiarity With The Pharmaceutical Industry, Including Understanding Of Drug Development, Manufacturing Processes, And Regulatory Requirements. This Will Enable The Candidate To Effectively Manage The Supply Chain For Pharmaceutical Products.
Communication And Negotiation Skills: Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Relationships With Suppliers, Internal Stakeholders, And Cross-Functional Teams.
Detail-Oriented: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail And Maintain Accuracy In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Must Be Able To Manage Multiple Priorities And Deadlines While Ensuring Quality And Compliance Standards Are Met.
