Job Description

AstraZeneca is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Biobank Scientist and Science Liason to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our research and development efforts as it involves collecting, organizing, and managing biological samples from our clinical studies. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, organized, and knowledgeable about biobanking and laboratory practices. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry, biology, or a related field and a minimum of two years of experience with biobanking. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and in a team setting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory software.
