Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in the field of oncology, specifically thoracic oncology, in the Paris and Ile de France region.
Serve as a scientific expert and resource for AstraZeneca’s oncology portfolio, including providing up-to-date clinical and scientific information to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for the region, including identifying and targeting potential new customers.
Conduct presentations, trainings, and discussions on AstraZeneca’s products and disease areas to healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and compliant communication of scientific information.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging data in the field of oncology to inform business strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Represent AstraZeneca at scientific conferences, symposia, and other events to increase awareness and understanding of our oncology portfolio.
Provide clinical support and insight to the commercial team, including assisting with market access and reimbursement activities.
Consistently uphold the company’s standards for ethical and compliant behavior, in line with local regulations and AstraZeneca’s code of conduct.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with KOLs and healthcare professionals, as well as market insights and activities.
Continuously identify and pursue opportunities for professional development and growth, staying up-to-date on advances in oncology and related fields.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Medical Sciences: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess An Advanced Degree (E.g. Phd, Md, Or Equivalent) In A Relevant Field Such As Oncology, Thoracic Medicine, Or Molecular Biology.
Extensive Knowledge Of Oncology And Thoracic Medicine: A Strong Background And Expertise In The Field Of Oncology And Thoracic Medicine Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Latest Research And Developments In These Areas.
Experience In Clinical Trials: The Attaché Scientifique Hospitalier Will Be Responsible For Supporting Clinical Trials In The Field Of Oncology And Thoracic Medicine. Therefore, Previous Experience In Coordinating And Managing Clinical Trials Is Highly Desirable.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Representative Of Astrazeneca, The Attaché Scientifique Hospitalier Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Includes The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders Such As Healthcare Professionals, Researchers, And Patients.
Fluency In French And English: This Position Requires Fluency In Both French And English, As The Attaché Scientifique Hospitalier Will Be Working With A Diverse Team And Interacting With French-Speaking Healthcare Professionals And Patients. Fluency In Any Other Languages Is Also Beneficial.
