Associate Scientist – Microbiologist

We are looking for an outstanding Associate Scientist – Microbiologist to join the AstraZeneca team. In this role, you will be a key part of our dynamic and driven laboratory staff, responsible for developing and executing microbial experiments and assays. You will be part of a team of talented, passionate scientists, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of drug discovery. We are looking for someone with a BSc or MSc in Microbiology or a related field, and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting. Working knowledge of various assay techniques, such as microbial culture and identification, ELISA, PCR, and DNA sequencing is essential. You must be able to effectively collaborate with colleagues and superiors, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
