  1. Conduct preclinical research and development activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Design and execute veterinary research studies to support the development of new medicines.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential drug candidates.
  4. Monitor and analyze data to assess drug efficacy and safety in animal models.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all experimental procedures and results.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards for the use of animals in research.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including academic institutions and contract research organizations.
  8. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including training and mentoring.
  9. Contribute to the writing and review of study protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in veterinary medicine to inform drug development strategies.
  11. Participate in scientific conferences and present research findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Represent the organization in a professional manner and uphold its values and mission.
  13. Collaborate with other departments, such as clinical development and regulatory affairs, to support the overall drug development process.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  15. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine (Dvm) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Veterinary Medicine, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Animal Physiology And Pharmacology

  • Experience In Conducting Preclinical Studies, Including Study Design, Data Analysis, And Interpretation

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines For Animal Studies, Including Fda, Ema, And Iacuc Regulations.
