Lead a team of scientists in designing and executing high-quality drug development projects.

Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Discipline Such As Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Or Molecular Biology Is Required For This Role. A Phd Is Preferred.
Extensive Research Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Research And Development Setting, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry. This Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Executing Successful Experiments And Projects.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As An Associate Principal Scientist, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Complex Data And Identifying Trends And Patterns. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Leadership And Management Experience: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Scientists And Researchers. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Including Managing Budgets, Setting Goals, And Providing Guidance And Support To Team Members.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: Astrazeneca Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Associate Principal Scientist Will Need To Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines For Drug Development. Experience With Regulatory Submissions And Interactions With Regulatory Agencies Is Preferred.
