Pre-Closing Reviewer

Responsible for validating specific supporting loan documents to help ensure the at-closing documentation compliantly reflects the loan terms to which the borrower has agreed. Assist Processor in obtaining hazard insurance, title commitment, and service invoices. Request corrections to the supporting documentation per PCR procedural expectations and investor requirements. Follow-up on corrected documentation and advise Closer of the status of any outstanding items. Review loan file for receipt and accuracy of supporting loan documentation required prior to generation of the initial Closing Disclosure. Order internal and external loan payoff statements. Assist with the processing, packaging and shipment of signed/funded loan packages to the Records Department. Assign loan file to a Closer. Communicate with Loan Officers, Sales Assistants, and Processors regarding the status of the file and the timeline for delivery of the initial Closing Disclosure.
