We are looking for an experienced Merchandising Planner to join the team at ASOS plc. Responsibilities:
- Monitor financial and commercial targets and develop strategies to meet those targets.
- Analyze sales trends and customer insights to create effective long-term merchandising plans.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly merchandise plans, including budgeting, forecasting and inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans accordingly to minimize stock-outs and overstocks.
- Work with multiple stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives to increase sales and profit margin.
- Source and select product ranges to ensure the latest fashion trends are represented.
- Communicate plans and objectives to the wider team and ensure they are achieved.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers.
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activity and identify opportunities to gain market share.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance and recommend actions to improve results.
