
Merchandising Planner
At ASOS plc, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Merchandising Planner to join our Merchandising team. As a Merchandising Planner, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the merchandising plans to ensure that our customers receive the right product, in the right place, at the right time. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about driving sales through innovative merchandising strategies and have the ability to think strategically while paying attention to the smallest details. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of merchandising principles, and the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders. You will have excellent problem-solving skills, advanced Excel skills, and a passion for the fashion industry. We are looking for someone who is capable of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and will bring a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the role. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans to ensure that customers receive the right product, in the right place, at the right time
- Analyze data and market trends to develop innovative strategies to optimize product placement and sales
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that plans are implemented and meet customer needs
- Monitor merchandising performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on performance and sales trends
- Manage and lead a team of merchandising staff
- Remain up-to-date on fashion industry trends and developments
