Job Description

ASOS plc is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for managing the translation and localization process, ensuring that all content is delivered accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for managing multiple language versions of the ASOS website, as well as developing and maintaining the localization style guide.To be successful in this position, you must have a degree in linguistics, translation, or a related field. You will also need to have at least 3 years of localization experience, preferably within a digital environment. You will need to be a highly organized individual with great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the translation and localization process, ensuring all content is delivered accurately and on time.
  2. Manage multiple language versions of the ASOS website.
  3. Develop and maintain the localization style guide.
  4. Maintain an understanding of cultural nuances and be able to work effectively with stakeholders across the business.
  5. Monitor and audit all translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  6. Track and report on performance metrics to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  7. Liaise with internal and external vendors to ensure quality translations.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  9. Research and stay up to date with the latest localization trends and technologies.
  10. Participate in user acceptance testing and QA processes.
