We’re looking for an experienced Localization Specialist to join ASOS plc and help us expand our global reach. At ASOS, we want to make sure our customers around the world receive the same great service and experience regardless of where they live. As our Localization Specialist, you’ll be the bridge between our teams in the UK and our international customers.To be successful in this role, you’ll need a deep understanding of different cultures, a creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt quickly to changing customer needs. You’ll also need a passion for language, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.If you have the qualifications we’re looking for and the drive to help us make an impact in the international market, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Translate content from English into other languages to ensure customers around the world receive the same great service and experience.
- Ensure translations are linguistically and culturally accurate and appropriate.
- Develop localization strategies to increase ASOS’s global reach.
- Monitor customer feedback to identify potential areas of improvement in localization processes.
- Manage the localization process from end-to-end, including language review, testing, and implementation.
- Work with international teams to ensure language requirements and customer expectations are met.
- Research and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to localization.
- Create and maintain localization style guides and glossaries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external language service providers.
- Identify and resolve any localization-related issues.
