As the Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.
  2. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, including pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  3. Continuously evaluate and monitor vendor performance to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels from vendors.
  5. Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues or concerns and maintain a positive working relationship.
  6. Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Identify new potential vendors and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure their capabilities and products align with company standards.
  8. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify potential opportunities and risks with current and potential vendors.
  9. Develop and implement strategies to optimize vendor performance and drive business growth.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance data.
  11. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to vendors and ensure vendors are in compliance.
  12. Train and mentor team members on vendor management processes and best practices.
  13. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall company processes and operations.
  14. Proactively communicate updates and changes to vendors and internal stakeholders.
  15. Continuously evaluate and streamline vendor management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Vendor Management Or Procurement, Preferably In The Furniture Industry.

  • Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Vendors.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes And Vendor Performance Metrics.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Experience Using Supply Chain Management Software.
