Job Description

Join our team at Ashley Furniture Industries as a Stock Associate and play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. As a Stock Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing and restocking merchandise, and assisting with the flow of product within the store.   1. Maintain inventory accuracy: The Stock Associate is responsible for regularly counting and verifying merchandise levels to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  2. Organize and restock merchandise: The Stock Associate will be responsible for organizing and restocking merchandise on the sales floor and in the stockroom to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store.
  3. Assist with product flow: The Stock Associate will work closely with the rest of the store team to ensure a smooth flow of product from the stockroom to the sales floor, as well as assist with receiving and processing new shipments.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service: The Stock Associate will interact with customers on the sales floor and must be knowledgeable about the store's products and able to assist customers with any inquiries.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction: The Stock Associate plays a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for customers by ensuring merchandise is available and easily accessible.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom: The Stock Associate is responsible for keeping the stockroom clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  7. Follow company policies and procedures: The Stock Associate must adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and inventory management guidelines.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members: The Stock Associate will need to work closely with the rest of the store team and communicate any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
