Shop Technician

Reads work orders, shipping orders, and demonstrates ability to follow verbal/written instructions from lead, supervisor, or manager. Diagnoses various levels of product damage to surface, mechanical, structural, or fabric/leather and determines the correct method for repair. Repairs scratches, gouges, or basic structural issues with carpentry and or basic painting/sanding. Re-upholster various items including chairs, sofas, headboards, ensuring same-as-new quality whenever possible. Safely operates required machinery and equipment and/or chemicals including saws, spray paints, lacquers, spray booth, drills, air hoses, and other appropriate tools while following all safety guidelines. Safely transports, loads, and unloads materials and products to designated areas utilizing pallets, hand trucks, carts, dollies, shelving, and other devices.
