- Design and create visually appealing and engaging displays to showcase our products in retail stores.
- Use creativity and knowledge of current design trends to develop unique and eye-catching displays that align with our brand image.
- Collaborate with store managers to understand sales goals and create displays that drive customer interest and sales.
- Ensure that all displays are set up to company standards and reflect current promotions or seasonal themes.
- Regularly update and refresh displays to maintain an attractive and dynamic shopping experience for customers.
- Merchandise products in a way that highlights their features and benefits to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized visual merchandising area, including restocking and replenishing products as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of product inventory and make recommendations for product placement to maximize sales.
- Train and coach store associates on visual merchandising techniques and standards.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitors’ visual merchandising strategies to continuously improve our displays.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols for all visual merchandising displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer questions and making product recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to provide feedback on product designs and packaging to enhance visual appeal.
- Assist with planning and execution of store events and promotions.
- Represent the company brand and values in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
Strong Visual Merchandising Experience: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Visual Merchandising, Preferably In A Retail Setting. They Should Have A Solid Understanding Of How To Create Visually Appealing Displays And Have A Keen Eye For Design.
Knowledge Of Furniture And Home Decor: As A Retail Store Visual Merchandiser At Ashley Furniture Industries, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of Furniture And Home Decor Trends. They Should Be Able To Curate Displays That Showcase The Company's Products In An Attractive And Current Way.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: This Role Requires Working Closely With The Store's Sales Team, As Well As Other Visual Merchandisers. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills To Collaborate Effectively And Ensure The Store's Displays Are Cohesive And Visually Appealing.
Creativity And Attention To Detail: A Successful Retail Store Visual Merchandiser Should Have A Creative Mindset And Be Able To Think Outside The Box When It Comes To Creating Displays. They Should Also Have A Keen Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Displays Are Executed Flawlessly.
Time Management And Organizational Skills: This Role Involves Frequent Changes To Displays And Setups, So The Candidate Should Have Strong Time Management And Organizational Skills To Ensure All Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And On Time.
