- Create visually appealing displays that showcase our furniture products and inspire customers to make purchases.
- Collaborate with the retail team to develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with our brand vision and goals.
- Utilize design principles and trends to create displays that effectively communicate the style and functionality of our products.
- Regularly review and update displays to ensure they are visually appealing and relevant to current promotions and trends.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences and tailor displays to drive sales.
- Maintain inventory of visual merchandising materials and work within budget guidelines.
- Train and mentor store associates on visual merchandising techniques and standards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors’ displays to ensure our showroom remains competitive and innovative.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, buying, and store management, to ensure cohesive brand representation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with questions and product information while on the sales floor.
Experience In Visual Merchandising: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Visual Merchandising, Preferably In A Retail Setting. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Merchandising Principles And The Ability To Create Eye-Catching Displays.
Creativity And Design Skills: A Retail Store Visual Merchandiser Should Have A Strong Sense Of Creativity And Design, With The Ability To Conceptualize And Execute Visually Appealing Displays That Align With The Brand's Aesthetic. They Should Also Have A Good Eye For Color, Texture, And Proportion.
Knowledge Of Furniture And Home Decor: As Ashley Furniture Industries Specializes In Furniture And Home Decor, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of These Products And The Ability To Showcase Them In An Attractive Way. Knowledge Of Current Design Trends And Styles Is Also Important.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Retail Store Visual Merchandiser Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Store Management, Sales Associates, And Other Departments. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate The Brand's Visual Strategy And Collaborate With Others To Achieve It.
