- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and understanding customer needs and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and warranties to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise and arranging displays according to company guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and efficiently, escalating issues to management if necessary.
- Act as a brand ambassador by promoting the company's values, products, and services to customers.
- Continuously update knowledge of product offerings, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the entire shopping process.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
- Meet and exceed sales goals by actively seeking out opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to continuously improve customer service skills.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, even in challenging situations.

Excellent Communication Skills: A Retail Customer Service Representative Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers In Person, Over The Phone, And Through Written Correspondence. This Includes Being Able To Actively Listen, Empathize, And Provide Clear And Concise Information To Resolve Customer Inquiries And Concerns.
Strong Product Knowledge: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Furniture Products Offered By Ashley Furniture Industries. This Includes Knowing The Features, Benefits, And Pricing Of Different Items To Assist Customers In Making Informed Purchase Decisions.
Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Demonstrates The Ability To Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints Professionally, And To Provide A Positive And Personalized Shopping Experience.
Problem-Solving Skills: A Retail Customer Service Representative Should Be Able To Think Critically And Come Up With Creative Solutions To Resolve Customer Issues. This May Include Handling Returns, Exchanges, Or Addressing Product Defects In A Timely And Efficient Manner.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Retail Industry Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding, Especially During Peak Sales Periods. Candidates For This Position Should Be Able To Multitask, Prioritize, And Work Efficiently Under Pressure To Meet Customer Needs And Expectations.
