As a Manufacturing Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the communication and understanding between our English-speaking and non-English speaking staff on the manufacturing floor. - Serve as a liaison between English-speaking and non-English speaking staff on the manufacturing floor
- Facilitate communication and understanding between both groups to ensure efficient and effective production processes
- Translate written and verbal instructions, documents, and conversations between English and Spanish
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in translation to avoid any errors or misunderstandings
- Provide support for non-English speaking employees in understanding safety protocols, training materials, and company policies
- Help to create a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting cultural sensitivity and understanding
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify areas of improvement in communication and implement solutions
- Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and jargon in both English and Spanish to maintain accurate and relevant translations
- Assist with onboarding and training of new non-English speaking employees
- Adhere to company confidentiality policies and maintain professionalism in all interactions with employees.
Fluency In English And At Least One Other Language: As A Manufacturing Interpreter, It Is Imperative To Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Effectively Facilitate Communication Between English-Speaking Managers And Non-English Speaking Employees.
Experience In Manufacturing Industry: A Solid Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes And Terminology Is Crucial For A Manufacturing Interpreter To Accurately Convey Information And Instructions To Employees On The Production Floor.
Cultural Sensitivity And Adaptability: Being Able To Understand And Navigate Cultural Differences Is Essential For A Manufacturing Interpreter To Effectively Bridge Communication Gaps And Foster A Harmonious Work Environment.
