
Human Resources Generalist

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and promote a positive work environment.
- Conduct recruiting and hiring processes, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews.
- Onboard new employees and facilitate orientation to company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management, handling any concerns or questions and promoting open communication.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other employee perks.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including employment status changes and performance evaluations.
- Keep up-to-date with current HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and policies.
- Collaborate with management to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in employee retention.
- Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations and policies.
- Participate in various HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field: A Formal Education In Human Resources Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Human Resources Generalist Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Hr Principles, Laws, And Practices.
2+ Years Of Experience In Hr: Previous Experience In Hr Is Highly Desirable For A Human Resources Generalist Role. This Could Include Experience In Recruitment, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, Or Other Hr Functions.
Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws, Including Fmla, Ada, And Eeoc, Is Necessary For A Human Resources Generalist. This Ensures Compliance With Legal Requirements And Protects The Company From Potential Lawsuits.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Human Resources Generalist Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Employee Matters.
Organizational And Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Human Resources Generalist Should Be Highly Organized And Able To Manage Multiple Tasks And Priorities. They Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Address Employee Issues And Find Solutions That Benefit Both The Employee And The Company.
