- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport furniture and home decor products to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
- Properly load and secure products onto the delivery truck, following company guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork, including log books, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products with care and professionalism, and handling any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Uphold the company's image and reputation by maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and comply with all state and federal laws governing the transportation of goods.
- Continuously monitor and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive light.
- Assist in other tasks or duties as assigned by the company.
